Hounslow Council will be giving away 500 trees for residents to plant in their gardens this winter. By planting a tree, you can help make Hounslow cleaner and greener for all.

A huge welcome to our launch community groups - Feltham in Bloom, Heston Action Group and Abundance London, taking part in Hounslow Greentalk. These groups will give local residents in their neighbourhood an opportunity to adopt newly planted trees and help extend all the great work they are already doing in the community.

Hounslow Greentalk is a unique service to help residents connect with and explore the borough’s nature and wildlife, including trees, parks and much more. See all the trees managed by the council, and explore them using maps and walking routes.

Hounslow Council’s garden waste collection service provides residents with 25 fortnightly collections from 1 April 2021 to 31 March 2022, with a break of two weeks over the Christmas period.

As part of Cleaner Greener Hounslow we have launched a community volunteering opportunity to get residents from all parts of the borough to join us in making Hounslow a cleaner and greener place to live.

The council plans to plant 4000 new trees in Hounslow, and that will all be appearing here on Greentalk.
